The History of the Australian Web (but interesting!)

The History of the Australian Web project, first posted on mUmbrella and created by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA), allows users to view the rise and fall of websites across the last eight years based on pages views, audience or time spent.

The fantastic display was developed by The Interaction Consortium using data supplied by Nielsen Online.

Hats off to them for an incredibly creative execution of what might have been a dull subject.
