Tim Burton is producing his version of Alice in Wonderland (see post below).
Another take on Alice is by an artist in Perth Australia called Pogo.
He samples from well known films and sequences the result to amazing effect.
Pogo’s Alice composed from Disney’s Alice in Wonderland has achieved over 2.9 million hits on YouTube, but I think he has gone one better with Mary Poppins.
Mary Poppins was written by an Australian – Pamela Lyndon in 1934, made famous by Disney in 1964 and is due to return to Australia as a stage musical next July.
Pogo’s version is one to watch (…hopefully not to closely by Disney’s copyright lawyers).
